The Association continues to be a strong and unified voice in promoting Catholic education. In achieving the vision and mission set out by the Association, the ACSTA focuses on the following ends: advocacy; communications; governance and faith development. The ACSTA advocated on behalf of Catholic education by providing timely information about the Association's position on key issues effecting Catholic education through communications and regular dialogue with stakeholders. The ACSTA ensures timely communications occur with its members, partners and public through such things as: the "Catholic Dimension" newspaper; the annual report, " ACSTA Happenings" newsletter, President's updates and the website www.acsta.ab.ca and its Facebook page. ACSTA continues to support and assist its members with governance issues. ACSTA provides faith development opportunities to the Catholic community through a variety of events. Annual Board Retreat, SPICE Retreat; Blueprints Retreat; and the AGM and Convention.
