YWCA Toronto works to transform the lives of marginalized and disadvantaged women and girls in Toronto by Operating: - Housing Programs including transitional housing for homeless women and children, Violence against Women Shelters, and permanent affordable housing - Employment and training Programs including immigrant settlement labour access, life skills training, English language development and pre-apprenticeship training - Early childhood development centre - Leadership training for girls, including subsidized summer camp - Family support programs such as Teen Moms and our Here to Help program for women who have escaped violence - December 6 Fund which provides interest-free revolving loans to women escaping violence - Case management, support services and housing for women who have serious,persistent mental health issued.
