YWCA of Calgary offers programs and services that range from basic needs to outreach support: Housing and shelter - addresses the basic shelter needs of vulnerable women and their children, who are struggling with homelessness and/or fleeinig family violence; Counselling services - provide comfort, healing and positive direction for women, children and men, in group and individual settings to address the core issues and circumstances related to the clients' situation; Education and training - language and employment skills training for new Canadians and women struggling with employment challenges to help reduce poverty and/or feelings of isolation. We also offer parenting and child development education and support; Community - accredited and affordable childcare, community housing and community-based services.
