The Calgary YMCA foundation ("Foundation") exists for the purpose of raising fund for the Calgary Young Men's Christian Association ("Association"). ON December 31, 2002, the assets of the Foundation were transferred to the Association. The Foundation still exists for the purpose of flowing through existing known and unknown bequests for the Association. Thus, the Foundation continues to operate as a separate entity, however, has been inactive for several years.
