Victoria Sexual Assault Clinic: the Sexual Assault Response Team offers emotional support and works with Forensic Nurse Examiners who provide medical examinations for recent sexual assaults in a clinic setting rather than emergency rooms at hospital. The clinic also house two police interview rooms should the survivor want to respect to the police, rather than going to a police station. This is the first program in the Province to provide these services in a private setting in collaboration with Island Health Authority, Police Detachments and the RCMP.
