ACSA is a multi-service community organization providing help and support to low-income families, children, youth, newcomers to Canada, homeless and marginally housed persons and others in need in the communities we serve in Scarborough. Some of our program areas include: food bank; community access programs; community engagement projects including two Action for Neighbourhood Change hubs; after-school programs; parent/child drop-ins; food security programs such as cooking classes and community gardens; homeless drop-in and meal programs; homeless outreach; housing follow-up support; services to newcomers (workshops, one-to-one counselling, settlement services, ESL classes); newcomer senior programs; civic awareness project; youth art programs; youth summer programs;Anti-violence programs (anti gang-related activity with youth) .
