Withe the help of over 2,000 active volunteers and approx 350 employees in more than 20 locations in British Columbia, We provide immigrant settlement and integration services which include information and referral programs. English Language training and citizenship classes. We also provide reception, orientation and assistance to new immigrants in the landing process at Vancouver International Airport. In addition, we organize educational and recreational programs for seniors, women and youths; offer clinical counseling, family life education program, early childhood development and Help Lines, and help organize support groups for immigrant families. In resepct of employment, we providfe employment counseling and job mentoring and organizeemplopyment workshops and organize job fairs. We operate and manage social housing for low income individuals and families, homelessness and people at risk of homelessness, low and moderate income seniors and people with disabilities. We also have offices in Seoul and Taipei, providing pre-landing services to support the settlement, adaptation and integration of potential immigrants into Canadian society.
