Tungasuvvingat Inuit(TI) provides support to the Inuit in Ontario. Services provided include counselling, assistance and social support to enable clients to adjust to the southern urban culture and environment. TI provides many services to the Inuit in Ontario. A snap shot of the programs TI offers their Inuit clients is not limited to, but includes the following: Mamisarvik Healing Center offers addiction and mental health counseling. Employment Service offers training/counselling in employment search, resume writing, applications and coaching/counselling for interviews. Family Resource Center offers support for housing, first housing assistance, women dealing with violence, youth suicide prevention, pre and post natal support, youth in transition counselling. Activities to support healthy identification with the Inuit culture and language.
